This is the information for subscribing the discussion list. Advise the users of REF-ET that the author monitors this list infrequently. However, he does monitor the support list.

By downloading REF-ET, you will be automatically subscribed to the REF-ET discussion list. The list is hosted by the Kimberly Research and Extension Center. If you want to join this discussion list, please send an email to ref-et@kimberly.uidaho.edu with the following message:

add ref-et-l <your_emailaddress> ie, add ref-et-l <me@mymail.net>

To leave the discussion list, please send an email to ref-et@kimberly.uidaho.edu with the message:

remove ref-et-l <your_emailaddress> ie, remove ref-et-l <me@mymail.net>

The mail server supports the following list-related actions by sending a message to "maiser@kimberly.uidaho.edu" with commands entered into the message body, one per line.

Command	Description
SET <listname> DIGEST	Switches subscription to digest mode.
SET <listname> NODIGEST	Switches subscription to non-digest mode.
LIST	Returns the lists available at this mail server
HELP	Returns the helpfile for this mail server.
EXIT	Stop processing, and discard the remainder of the message

Digest mode sends list messages as a group for a time period or when a certain number have accumulated as an individual message. Currently, the digest settings for the ref-et list is 24 hours or when 5MBytes of messages have accumulated.

All list messages are archived. A new archive is created on a weekly basis and will be made available as time permits.
